MARC SIEGEL, MD is a practicing internist, an associate professor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, and the Medical Director of Doctor Radio with NYU Langone and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.

Dr. Siegel helped create Doctor Radio and put it on the air 2 years ago.

Dr. Siegel is also a senior Fox News Medical Contributor, and he is the main on air correspondent for health reform as well as fear and contagions, as well as the current swine flu pandemic.

Dr. Siegel is the author of False Alarm; the Truth About the Epidemic of Fear, and Bird Flu: Everything You Need to Know About the Next Pandemic, and the new Ebook, Swine Flu: the New Pandemic, profiled by Publisher's Weekly.

 Dr. Siegel is also a columnist for the LA Times; his bi-weekly column The Unreal World examines TV and movies for medical accuracy. Dr. Siegel is also a member of the board of contributors at USA Today, where he contributes opeds regularly, as well as to the NY Post and Wall Street Journal. Dr. Siegel has written extensively about influenza for Slate.
Dr. Siegel is an expert in examining contagions, as well as the fear that accompanies them.
